Winter Sunrise

Why are sunrises and sunsets in Winter so much more dramatic than any other time of year? I suppose the answer is obvious, but still, my brain demands a more compelling answer and a more dramatic expression. Shades of warm gray, blue, turquoise, orange, red, yellow, white, pink, and aqua. Painted in acrylics.
